The organization maintains a conflict of interest policy to ensure that conflicts between and among the organization, its employees and its directors are properly disclosed and, if improper, avoided. The organization enforces this policy by requiring that improper conflicts of interest relationships are avoided or eliminated and by ensuring that directors with real or perceived conflicts abstain from debating or voting upon matters related to the conflict.
