Additional Explanations

PART XI, LINE 2C:

The executive committee, appointed by the full board, has oversight on the selection and supervision of the outside auditing firm. This process had not changed from prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The association has adopted the application of the uncertain tax position provisions of fasb asc 740, income taxes. It prescribes an evaluation process for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. It also provides guidance on de-recognition, classification, interest and penalties, disclosure and transitions. The provisions had no impact on the association's financial statements. As of may 31, 2025 and 2024, the association has accrued no interest and penalties related to uncertain tax positions. It is the association's policy to recognize interest and penalties related to income tax matters as expense. In general, the association is no longer subject to u.s. Federal income tax examinations by tax authorities for u.s. Federal or state income tax returns before fiscal year ended may 31, 2022.
