The internal revenue service has recognized westminster shores, inc. As a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. As a result, income earned in furtherance of the entity's tax-exempt purpose is exempt from federal and state income taxes and; accordingly, these financial statements include no provision or liability for income taxes. As of march 31, 2015, westminster shores, inc. Is no longer subject to income tax examinations, with certain exceptions, by the u.s. Federal taxing authorities for any tax years prior to the last three tax years.
