Mission

To support and encourage higher standards of pharmaceutical education at all levels of the profession in order to attract qualified personnel into the profession of pharmacy; to encourage and maintain relationships with all healthcare professionals, governmental bodies, and agencies to enhance the overall quality of healthcare; to ensure the profession is practiced by properly qualified pharmacists to protect the welfare of the public; and to serve, represent, and assist florida pharmacists to advance the profession and practice of pharmacy.

Due to its tax-exempt status, the association is not subject to us federal income tax or state income tax. The association's form 990 has not been subject to examination by the internal revenue service or the state of florida for the last three years. The association recognizes interest and/or penalties related to income tax matters in income tax expense.
