“There are twenty-one (21) board members, twenty (20) of whom are elected by the membership for 5 year terms and the captain, ex officio. The captain/cheif executive officer once elected by the board of directors shall serve ex officio as the chaiman of the board of directors and as a member of all committees until the earlier of his death or retirement. The board shall have the following officers who will serve on the executive committee with the captain: president, first vice president, second vice president, secretary and treasurer. The executive committee shall exercise the boards duties and powers between meetings of the board, subject to ratification by the board of directors.”

“There shall be only one class of membership, which shall consist of all persons who have made application and paid the initiation fee and who are (i) proposed by a member in good standing, (ii) recomended by the membership committee, and (iii) invited to become a member by the board of directors, subject to the approval of the captain.”
