Mission

To assist our county's neediest citizens as efficiently and fairly as possible. Services are provided by a pool of volunteers and include food, clothing and help with utilities, rent, medical and other needs. 632 unduplicated clients received 12,635 unduplicated services for themselves and their household members in 2022.

Services are provided by a pool of volunteers and include food, clothing and help with utilities, rent, medical and other needs. 1,032 unduplicated clients (who came for assistance an average of five times during 2019) received over 29,000 services for themselves and their household members in the year.

Food was purchased ($15,983) to supplement other food donations from the community which helped us to provide groceries for 17,000 citizens during the year. These funds ($76,439) were spent on client services in the following areas: $52,004 for utilities; $15,983 for food; $4,774 for rent & shelter; $2,520 for pharmacy help; and $1,158 for doctor visits and other needs. Please note: our town had a devastating tornado on March 3, 2019 and several churches and organizations donated funds and the Help Agency was the conduit to help those affected by the storm, thus our numbers were up this year.
