Elderhaus is a non-profit pace organization located in wilmington, nc, that serves residents of new hanover and eastern brunswick counties. The organization provides services and care that allow local seniors to remain independent in their own homes. Our participants are approved to participate in medicare and medicaid. Elderhaus is a member of the everyage family, a newton, nc-based, non-profit ministry offering senior housing and services.
Adult day care and adult day health services provided to adults 18 and older, and intergrated services for frail and olderly over 55 years of age.

“The organization reviews the conflict of interest policy yearly with all new members and whenever a new member is elected. Board members sign annual conflict of interest statements in which they disclose any current conflicts of interest. Those conflicts are then considered by the board of directors and a determination is made as to whether the member should remainon the board or be dismissed.”

“Subsequent to the timely filing of the form 990 for fiscal 2015, management discovered that the year end accrued salaries had been inadvertently understated due to the timing of a year end payroll and the method used to estimate accrued salaries during the year. Accordingly, the audited financial statements were corrected to record this accrual by increasing operating expenses (and thus reducing unrestricted net assets) by 142,982 and increasing accrued salaries at june 30, 2015, by the same amount. This amended form 990 refects this correction.”
