His High Places, Inc. employees and volunteers must follow guidelines prohibiting actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest. This policy provides general direction so employees and volunteers understand acceptable standards of operation.See attached for complete explanation of conflicts of interest policy.

The staff prepares recommendations for compensation and presents it to the committee. IRS990ScheduleI/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0We only award scholarships to clients who demonstrate a financial need. The client sends an email to the ministry describing their financial situation. The Client Services Coordinator receives the email, adds a recommended scholarship amount or percentage and forwards the message to the business administrator. The business adminstrator either approves, modifies or declines the request. The Client Serivces Coordinator notifies the client. If a scholarship is approved, the approval is only valid for 30 days. During that time, the client must pay their 25% deposit to confirm their visit. Once the deposit is received, the scholarship is applied towards their balance in the form of a credit memo. We generally try to award scholarships between 25% and 50% of the client's total cost.
