Membership - any reputable person who has a reasonable and substantial interest in the economic development of the state of Georgia or any subdivision thereof, and who sincerely desires to further the purpose of this corporation may be elected a member by the board of directors as provided herein.”

In determining the President's beginning compensation as set forth in contract, the board used a salary survey prepared by the International Economic Development Council ("IEDC"), making adjustments for the size of the Organization, the number of staff members, the scope of the Organization's activities and the President's experience. Future salary increases will be based on market factors and job performance.
