The university owns approximately 3,328 works of art as follows: photographs 296 paintings 1052 works on paper 1,374 sculpture (ceramics included) 518 textile (does not include the textile collections) 88 the collection furthers the university's exempt purpose as an educational institution by providing an invaluable educational resource. The collection highlights the notable art trends and focuses on contemporary art and art created by women. The collection helps students broaden their world view by exposing them to a variety of modes of self expression.
