The audit committee reviewed the 990 with the auditor and had the opportunity to ask questions and make comments. All members of the full board were informed that copies of the form 990 would be made available to them upon request, and copies are available at the october full board meeting prior to filing the 990.”
“All principal officers, members of the executive committee (which includes all officers of the organization), the audit committee and the finance committee, as well as all employees of the organization, complete a conflict of interest disclosure and are provided with the conflict of interest policy on an annual basis. The committee which may be reviewing a particular transaction determines whether a conflict exists. At the employee level, the president of the organization determines if a conflict exists. Conflicted parties may not participate in deliberations or decisions which involve the conflict of interest.”

The wage review is performed at the end of each fiscal year for inclusion in the total chamber budget which is voted on by the executive committee and ratified by the full board of directors. The ecc will consider the cpi and the most recent georgia association of chamber executives/wage and benefit survey in making this determination. Government affairs purpose is to facilitate political cooperation to promote a unified gainesville/hall county; study and address issues that effect business and the community.
