The sampson county museum of history is intended for promotion and understanding of historical and material culture of sampson county and its unique heritage. Through collections and historical interpretation, this museum promises to encourage visitors and citizens to explore and relate on a personal level pages from the past; to reflect and pause as they search through their own lives and their place in history; and to preseve state, region and especially local history for all the generations to come.
