Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The mission of the stanly arts guild is to introduce the public to the talented artists in the area while promoting the practice, teaching and appreciation of fine arts in the stanly county region; to sponsor educational opportunities for potential artists; to nurture beginning artists with developing skills in how to promote, display and market their work while providing them with the opportunity to show their work, compete in exhibitions and gain recognition; and to make art a part of the lives of everyone in our community, including children, the elderly, veterans, the disadvantaged, and the mentally and physically handicapped.
