Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 11B

The form 990 is prepared by the cpa who is engaged to audit the books and records of the organization on an annual basis. The return is reviewed by the treasurer of the board and signed by her. The financial information is the same between the audit and the form 990 except as reflected on schedule d of form 990. The questions and answers reflected on the form 990 have been reviewed with the housing manager and are deemed to be correct. A copy of the form 990 is maintained in the office and is available for the board members to review if they are interested.

The organization reviews its conflict of interest policy on a continuing basis. All have to sign a written statement and the status is reviewed on an on-going basis.

The board of directors reviews the compensation of the housing manager on an annual basis. All of the board members are independent. They utilize information available from other low-income housing projects and consider the current market as well as their budget to determine the appropriate level of compensation.

The board approves the compensation of all other employees of the organization. The board considers the market, longevity of the employee, their experience and the available budget in determining the compensation level for these employees.

The by-laws and conflict of interest policy are made available by specific request. Is a not-for-profit corporation and has been recognized as exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and does not record a provision for income taxes. The organization regularly reviews and evaluates its tax positions taken in previously filed information returns and in its financial statements, with regard to issues affecting its tax-exempt status, unrelated business income, and related matters. The organization believes that in the event of an examination by taxation authorities, its position would prevail. Therefore, the organization has concluded that no tax benefits or liabilities are required to be recognized. The organization's tax years open to examination by authorities include 2011, 2012, and 2013.
