The committee shall ensure that the university is in compliance with the approved capital expenditure policy. During the intervals between the meetings of the board, the executive committee shall have the power to transact all financial and executive business, except as otherwise may be provided by law or by these bylaws. The committee shall conduct an annual review of the president's performance and compensation package. Minutes of the meetings and actions of the executive committee shall be accurately recorded and shall be presented in each case to the succeeding meeting of the board for approval and ratification.”
