“Increased opportunities to aid non-profits in disseminating their message through various media channels, which resulted in the publishing of 112 media stories through 3,790 media outlets nationwide and reaching an audience of over 69.2 million people, plus millions more via social media. Taxpayer accomplished their goal of receiving funding to help non-profits develop video competency to communicate their message and group's mission through videos on their websites and through social media sharing. Mpi trained 11 organizations (eight new, three returning) who have produced over 70 videos in 2017 to support their communication goals. Mpi initiated a collaboration with kent state university school of journalisim and published and distributed 5 student stories to a cumulative audience of nearly 2 million.”
