Mission

Swope community enterprises is dedicated to provide solutions to improve the physical, behavioral, and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities.

During 2013, swope community enterprises (sce) as a functionally integrated parent company, provided an array of professional, legal, strategic, public relations, succession planning, talent management and financial support to its member company subsidiaries. Due to sce's 2014 reorganization it became a non-functionally integrated entity supporting swope community builders (scb) and swope health services (shs).swope community enterprises (sce) strategically represents a complimentary range of essential community services to improve physical, behavioral and economic health of the underserved in targeted urban areas. Through its supported companies based in kansas city, missouri, sce provides solutions to today's urban challenges with health care, commercial and economic development planning, housing and commercial development, and urban planning.

The organization's governance structure includes a finance & audit committee, which is a separate standing committee of the board of directors. This committee assumes responsibility for oversight of the audit process, including selection and engagement of the independent accountant performing the audit, and reviewing/discussing the results of the annual audit with the independent accountant.

PART X, LINE 2:

Uncertain tax provisions, if any, are recorded in accordance with fasb asc 740, income taxes (previously fin 48). Fasb asc 740 requires the recognition of a liability for tax positions taken that do not meet the more-likely-than-not standard that the position will be sustained upon examination by the taxing authorities. There is no liability for uncertain tax positions recorded at december 31, 2014, or 2013.
