There is no compensation to any director, ceo, officers or other persons for their role in management or representation or other aspects of their position. Compensation is provided only to persons in the corporation for their technical service to a specific project within a contract or grant, or for a specific professional project related to educational, marketing, publication, or other specific indirect cost task. The compensation for these direct services is based on an hourly or daily rate as specified in the contract or grant to which the technical services are directed. Compensation for educational, marketing, publication or other specific tasks are also based on similar hourly rates. Hourly rates are set to compete with hourly rates as charged by other scientists of equivalent experience and stature, or as limited by the grantee, federal or state practices, or other laws and practices. Where possible, annual increases of 2 to 5% are applied to rates. No bonuses or other form of compensation are provided.
