Governance Explanations

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 4

During the year ended june 30, 2017 board term limits were instituted. Board memberes (except for the executive director) now serve 3 year terms and are limited to two terms. A schedule was approved by the board in the annual meeting that will gradually rotate existing members off in a manner that will not hinder the work of the board and will allow the board time to recruit and train new members. After 1 year off a board member may be invited back.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8B

The organization's board of directors has no committees authorized to act on behalf of the board. All decisions are made by the full board of directors.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15A

Compensation for the organization's executive director is determined by the full board of directors on an annual basis. These deliberations are documented in the organization's board minutes.
