THE CFO TRACKS HOW MUCH FUNDS ARE GIVEN TO HOME ON A MONTHLY BASIS. IF H.O.M.E REQUIRES ADDITIONAL FUNDS, THE BOARD MUST APPROVE THE INCREASE. The VEHF Board approved an endowment spending policy in June 2013 in order to preserve the Foundation resources. The policy establishes sustainable draw-down's consistent with the overall risk tolerance of the Foundation. The goal is to provide annual support to HOME that does not exceed 5% of a 3 year moving average of the endowment market value beginning in fiscal year 2016 and beyond.
