Mission and Program Overview

Mission

World pediatrics' mission is to heal children and advance pediatric healthcare in the world. World pediatrics' program model is built upon long-term engagement and continuity of multi-specialty care through direct patient care and local capacity-building programs. World pediatrics is treating children in the present while helping to build a stronger system for children in the future.

Wpp provides surgical and diagnostic care for critically ill children from caribbean basin countries by mobilizing hospitals and volunteer surgeons from the us and abroad. In fiscal year 2014, wpp served 2053 children consisting of 782 surgeries in 11 surgical sub-specialties and 2,651clinical consultations.
