COP also distributes dishes, cookware, and linens. Many are moving into homes for the first time and are victims of fire displacement or other circumstances.Approximately $13,000 was spent in 2019 to help people with home repair projects such as handicap ramps, roof repairs, plumbing, heating, painting, and carpentry work. Isle of Wight County has an "aging" population and many homes need considerable work to continue to make them livable. THERE WERE NO GRANTS OR REVENUE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROGRAM SERVICE.
