Operation smile provided more than 24,726 patients with surgery and dental care via its short-term medical programs and care centers in 24 countries across a footprint of 175 hospitals. While the organization conducted 183 short-term medical programs, all of which were conducted by a majority of local medical volunteers. Operation smile addressed comprehensive care services including oral health, speech therapy, and nutrition were provided to 54,378 plus patients. Over 5,860 health care workers were trained, and ten hospital investments were made.
