Mission

Christian mission dedicated to helping its residents overcome homelessness, poverty, alocohol and drug dependency. Our year long program seeks to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our particpants. The key to our success is character transformation, which is a spiritual process that begins when an individual acknowledges his sinfulness and helplessness, and accepts the redemtptive sacrifice of jesus christ restoring him to fellowship with god.

Good samaritan ministries maintains an auto shop and facilitates auto sales of donated vehicles. Good sam's auto offers used cars affordably priced to help those in need of reliable transportation. These donated cars are given a thorough inspection by our qualified staff, and are available to view at our ministry headquarters. Good sam's auto sales also plays a part in the rehabilitation and training that we offer to our men who are participating in our discipleship program. Through onsite job training, these men are able to acquire job skills that can be utilized after graduation in order to seek gainful employment.

The organization follows the statutory requirements for its income tax and accounting and generally avoids risks associated with tax positions that may be challenged upon examination. Management believes any liability resulting from taxing authorities imposing additional income taxes from activities deemed to be unrelated to the organization's tax-exempt status would not have a material effect on the financial statements. Generally, the organizations tax returns remain open for federal income tax examination for three years from the date of filing.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, OUR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF BACKGROUNDS AND SKILLS, AND ARE USED IN MANY CAPACITIES OF RUNNING A MINISTRY. IN ADDITION TO THIS, WE HAVE TWO CREWS WHICH HAVE BEEN MADE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR HIRE, WHICH INCLUDE: (1) MAINTENANCE.
