“Afcea educational foundation does not have employees. Afcea international provides staffing and other management services to the afcea educational foundation and is reimbursed for such services at cost.”

“The president of afcea will be the organization ("ef") president and serve as chairman of the ef. Additionally, the president appoints all directors to the board of directors. Lastly, the president is appointed by and can be removed by the chair of afcea subject to ratification by the afcea exec committee.”

The board of directors delegated the review and approval of the form 990 to the afcea audit committee, an independent committee that reports to the board of directors. The delegation was done for efficiencies in operations and to ensure timely filing of the form 990.”
