“The draft of the 990 is reviewed by the management staff of jaba. It is then reviewed by the finance committee of the board of directors and referred to the executive committee for further review. The executive committee of the board of directors then recommends its acceptance to the entire board of directors. Once accepted by the board of directors, the 990 is filed with the irs.”

“The board of directors review the compensation plan of the chief executive officer (ceo). The ceo has a written evaluation plan. The ceo receives self-evaluation documents from each senior management staff member. The management member first completes an evaluation of the prior year goal accomplishments then each management member develops new goals for the upcoming fiscal year. These are reviewed by the ceo and recommended changes are addressed. Evaluations are signed by both parties and kept for personnel files. The management team reviews all salary recommendations and changes annually. All salaries are reviewed during the budget process.”
