Mission and Program Overview
Mission
Swimming Pool for membership-social activitites and exercise.
Village West Inc. is a community swim club located in West Springfield, Virginia that has been active since 1967. We serve as a local summer recreation center for due paying members and also host an NVSL-associated swim team for children (ages 5-18) of member families. We host a handful of community events during the pool season that are open to all community residents.

The most significant change was to change references to the Village West Vikings Swim Team as a part of the corporation to instead become an advisory organization to the Village West Inc Executive Board. This change was made to allow the Village West Vikings Swim Team to become its own non-stock corporation and gain 501(c)(3) status as a charitable, tax-exempt sports club. The new bylaws are available on our website (villagewestpool.com).”
