Activity 2

Goodwill provides education and career services, as well as job placement opportunities and post-employment support to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment so that they can find and keep good jobs. Individuals can achieve greater levels of self-sufficiency and economic success through goodwill's workforce development services - such as employment training and education, work experience and employment retention services. Goodwill programs strengthen communities and families and promote independence and dignity for people who need it most.

Activity 3

Rappahannock goodwill industries provides administrative support to retail stores operated as rappahannock goodwill stores, inc. The stores accept clothing and other household donated goods from the public and sells these donations in community-based retail locations. Revenue from the sale of these goods goes directly toward supporting and growing critical community-based programs and job placement services. The stores provide on-the-job training and other vocational services to people with disabilities, people with disadvantages and others having a hard time finding employment.
