“Any person who is a member in good standing of the bar of any state, territory, district, or possession of the united states, or of any other country or political subdivision thereof, is eligible for membership as a "voting member" of the association. Any person who is enrolled in law school or who has graduated from law school and is not eligible for membership as a "voting member" will be eligible for membership as a "student member" of the association. Any person not eligible as a "voting member or "student member" may seek membership as an "energy professional member." to be accepted, each applicant's admission must be consistent with the overall interests and character of the association. Student members and energy professional members are not voting members.”

“The board of directors and officers will be elected by the voting members of the association at the annual meeting.”

“A draft of the completed form 990 was reviewed by the board of director's finance committee and was made available to the full board of directors for review.”

“Disclosure statements completed by employees and members of the board of directors are reviewed by the president so that action can be taken if necessary. Disclosure statements are retained in the administrative offices of the board of directors.”

“In determining the annual salary of the executive director and other energy bar association employees, the board of directors refers to publicly available salary data for employees in comparable positions at other similar organizations, particularly those in the washington d.c. Metropolitan area. The board of directors may consider the most recently published data compiled annually by the american society of association executives, the social security cost of living adjustment percentage, and the amount by which the office of personnel management increases salaries for federal employees. Other relevant salary benchmarks may be considered by the eba board of directors in its discretion.”

“The conflict of interest policy and annual report containing financial information are posted on the energy bar association's website, and governing documents are available upon request.”
