“Win member organizations are religous bodies (churches synagogues, mosques, and other religus godies), unions and civic organizations”

“Each member organization is a voting member (with the right to two voting representatives) in the steering and action team (win membership body) at its annual meeting the steering and action team elects the co-chairs and ratifites the appointment by the strategy team of the treasurer,secretary, and new strategy team members”

“The steering and action team votes on major policy decisions and initiatives proposed by the strategy team (board)of win, either at its annual meeting or at special meetings hel throughout the year”

“A copy of win form 990 will be provided to each member of its board, but not before filing, because of time constraints the form 990 has been reviewed by win's executive director and treasurer and comments included win's newly-created finance committe of the board, in the future will review the 990 and then present it to board members, either in a meeting or individually,before the trerasurer will be authorized to file it”

“Win requires each covered person to file an annual report in addition all projects and grants will require full disclosure of interested parties and beneficiaries meeting the definitions of the policy board meetings that consider any action that would present or might present a conflict of interest will require the interested party to abstain in addition, all projects and disbursements are reviewed by lead organizer (executive director) and the treasurer for conflicts and by the executive committee for all project and substantial disbursements for programs any conflicts will be reported to the board (strategy team)”

“Win ceos are its co-chairs the salary and other compensation of the lead organizer (exec director) is reviewed by the treasurer and the executive committee as part of the approval process for the lead organizers employment contract compensation levels for similar experienced community organizers are considered the salarya mount and benefits proposed are presented to the board (strategy team) for consideration and final approval the lead organizer is the only key employee a new committee of the board institutied under the amended bylaws is instituting additional procedures for compensation”

“Win makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available for inspection by the public in its offices during regualr business hours win will provide a link on its website to permit the public to request a copy”
