The co-directors of the organization establish the salaries of other staff based on a variety of factors including education, experience, responsibility level, and the job market for the skills required. The board approves an annual budget for the organization which includes a percent increase in salaries. This percent salary increase is determined each year when the budget is established. Annually on january 1st, the co-directors receive a percent increase in their salary equal to the standard percent increase in salaries approved and documented by the board in the annual budget. The co-directors determine salary increases for other staff either at the anniversary of the employee's date of hire or promotion. These increases are based on the percent increase in salaries approved by the board as part of the organizational budget but may be smaller or larger based on a variety of factors including responsibility level, performance, tenure, and the job market for the skills required. The date of last compensation review was january 2014.”
