“Part III Line 1 - The Northeast Regional Early Intervention Collaborative, Inc.is a not for profit organization whose goal is to promote quality, family-centered early intervention services in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties. The Organization offers family education and support, professional training and technical assistance, and serves as a link between the state agency for early intervention in New Jersey, (the Department of Health) and the region. The Organization also serves as the regional system point of entry for early intervention and as the central hub for regional data collection. The Organization is one of four early intervention collaboratives in New Jersey. The Organization also operates under the trademark of helpful hands. The Organization is a collaboration of parents and professionals working on behalf of infants and toddlers with a variety of developmental delays and/or disabilities. The Organization seeks to ensure that all families are empowered to help their child grow to his or her fullest potential.”

“The Form 990 is prepared by an audit firm and is then provided to the Executive Director and accounting department to perform a preliminary review of Form 990. The Form 990 is then presented to the finance committee for approval and the full board is given five days for comment prior to approval and submission to the IRS.”

“The conflict of interest policy is included in the Organizzations personnel and board manuals and management reviews the manuals annually with all staff and board trustees. Additionally, a standalone document is distributed to staff and board trustees and signed annually and kept in their personnel/board file. Any conflicts noted are then discussed by the board for further action if needed to ensure transparency within the Organization.”
