To engage in activities to promote the us-turkish commercial, defense, and cultural relations through education, instruction, and training programs in the following areas: to help resolve problems and disputes that affect us-turkish commercial, defense, and cultural relations. To encourage trade and investment between the united states and turkey. To educate the public and private sectors on the importance of the strategic alliance between the united states and turkey. To increase the understanding and appreciation of the history, culture, and traditions of the united states and turkey. To promote awareness of us-turkish relations. To facilitate dialogue between the government agencies of both turkey and the united states.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

“Financial statement footnote regarding fin 48 (asc 740) the council evaluates uncertainty in income tax positions based on a more-likely-than-not recognition standard. If that threshold is met, the tax position is then measured at the largest amount that is greater than 50% likely of being realized upon ultimate settlement. As of december 31, 2017, there are no accruals for uncertain tax positions. If applicable, the council records interest and penalties as a component of income tax expense. Tax years from 2014 through the current year remain open for examination by tax authorities.”
