MORE THAN 36,000 CHILDREN PREVIOUSLY LISTED ON ADOPTUSKIDS NOW LIVE WITH PERMANENT FAMILIES. THE PROJECT'S MISSION IS TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT THE NEED FOR FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN IN THE PUBLIC CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM; AND ASSIST US STATES, TERRITORIES, AND TRIBES TO RECRUIT, ENGAGE, DEVELOP AND SUPPORT FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE FAMILIES. THERE WERE ABOUT 405,000 FAMILIES THAT CONTACTED NAA TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF ADOPTION.
