The Board of Directors reviews and approves annually the Executive Director's compensation. Mosaic's Human Resources Department in conjunction with the CEO determine compensation for key employees and employees based upon market data, compensation surveys, etc. There is contemporaneous documentation and recordkeeping regarding the compensation arrangement.

The Company accounts for tax provisions in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) Subtopic 740-10, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, which creates a single model to address uncertainty in tax positions and clarifies the accounting for income taxes by prescribing the minimum recognition threshold a tax position is required to meet before being recognized in the financial statements. Under the requirements of ASC Subtopic 740-10, tax-exempt organizations could be required to record an obligation as the result of a tax position they have historically taken on various tax exposure items. Mosaic has determined that it does not have any uncertain tax positions as of June 30, 2017.
