“The review and approval of Form 990 is delegated to the Director of Finance & Administration and the Executive Director or Co-Executive Directors (who are members of the Board of Directors).”

“A performance review of the Executive Director is conducted annually by the President, and any increase in compensation is subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Annual performance reviews of key employees are conducted by the Executive Director and any changes in compensation are approved by the Executive Director.”

“The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon request.”

“According to the policy of the organization, the Executive Committee may conduct business of the organization on behalf of the AWID Board of Directors except in the following circumstances: hiring of the Executive Director, approval of the annual budget; approval of Committee Chairs or Co-Chairs; appointment of the Chairperson and three members of the Nominating Committee; or removal of any officer or director from office. These functions shall be executed by the Board of Directors only.”

They are provided by those individuals possessed of those skills, and the organization would have purchased the services had they not been donated.”
