Activity 2

Education: project learning tree (plt), a program of aff, works with tens of thousands of teachers each year, providing them with tools, training, and resources to engage their students in learning about the environment, and to take their students outdoors to learn. Plt uses forests as a window on the world and provides educators with environmental education curriculum reasources that can be integrated into lesson plans for all grades and subject areas. Plt teaches students how to think, not what to think, about complex environmental issues, and helps them acquire the skills they need to make sounds choices about the environment.

Activity 3

Aff's communication program raises awareness of aff's goals and strategic priorities, supports its signature programs, promotes sustainability to a larger public audience, and develops new partnerships with the forestry, conservation, and education communities.
