Additional Explanations

Form 990, Page 1, Part I, Line 6

Volunteers helping on the annual march for life rally held in dc.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4B

As a research and education organization, the march for life seeks to compliment work being done by existing organizations, to create collaborative relationships and projects wherever possible and to disseminate its findings and recommendations to a broad national and local community. The government affairs team plays both defense and offense on our issues in a bold and bipartisan manner. We are expanding march for life's influence as a leading pro-life voice in washington, d.c., and our experts educate leaders in congress, the administration, by utilizing face-to-face meetings, expert testimony, presentations, briefing, and email alerts. The march for life pursues an active program of public education and awareness. In tangible ways, we are arming policy makers and the american citizenry with the power which knowledge gives. One example is we regularily hold briefings titled "capitol hill 101," which help to educate visitors to the nations capitol on how to interact with elected officials and their offices. We have started to expand the program to the states as well.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4C

Public education - our annual theme debut is designed to educate participants on the most relevant and important pro-life issue at hand.throughout the year, the march for life hosts a variety of social media interviews (fb live, instagram live, etc.) with technical experts on the annual theme and utilizes print and educational graphics on social media to further provide educational resources for our followers. The march for life conference is designed to provide participants with in-depth education and assistance to help promote the yearly pro-life theme. The expo hall(01/21- 01/22) provides participants with an opportunity to learn about and network with dozens of pro-life groups, strengthening the movement as a whole. Finally the march for life president speaks to various groups on pro-life themes, in addition to doing substantive media throughout the year (ranging from mainstream tv interviews to opinion pieces) on a variety of pro-life issues.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

Communication and outreach advocacy: the march for life is working with local partners to offer state capital march for life events across the country. By marching in our states, we show our local leaders that we the people want protective, life-affirming laws for both the unborn and their mothers.
