The mission of the washington campus is to educate leaders about the washington policy-making process so that they can engage ethically and effectively in informing policy makers and promoting sound decisions that will advance a healthy society and a robust us and global economy. The washington campus was founded on, and continues to operate on the principle that understanding how government works is indispensable knowledge for all business leaders.

The form 990 is reviewed by the president and ceo, who is also a member of the board. A copy of the form 990 is electronically distributed to the entire board of directors annually, before filing .

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

For each interest disclosed to the chairman of the board of directors, the chairman will determine whether to (a) take no action, (b) assure full disclosure to the board of directors and other individuals covered by this policy, (c) ask the person to recuse from participation in related discussions or decisions within the organization, or (d) ask the person to resign from their position in the organization or, if the person refuses to resign, become subject to possible removal in accordance with the organization's removal procedures. The organization's chief executive and chief financial officer will monitor proposed or ongoing transactions for conflicts of interest and disclose them to the chairman of the board of directors in order to deal with potential or actual conflicts, whether discovered before or after the transaction has occurred. Persons covered by this policy are the organization's officers, directors, chief executive and chief financial officer.

PART V, LINE 4:

The intended uses of the endowment funds is to create a fund to ensure the financial security of the washington campus, to include special programs that might include the development of new educational programs, the investment in new ideas, and support for new forms of marketing and promotion of the campus.

PART X, LINE 2:

No uncertain tax position. The organization's income tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal and state authorities. The organization is not aware of any activities that would jeopardize its tax-exempt status. The organization is not aware of any activities that are subject to tax on unrelated business income, excise tax or other taxes. The tax returns for the years ended 2015, 2016, and 2017 are open to examination by federal and state authorities.
