IRS990ScheduleA/FactsAndCircumstancesTestTxt0SAFE WATER NETWORK CONTINUES TO DIVERSIFY THE TYPES OF FUNDERS WE SEEK IN OUR FUNDING BASE. THE ACTUAL DONOR-TYPE DISTRIBUTION FOR 2013 AND 2014 AND ANTICIPATED TRENDS 2015 ARE SHOWN BELOW: 2013 2014 2015FUNDING TYPE % % %CORPORATE 6% 7% 24%CORPORATE FOUNDATION 29% 40% 15%PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATION 51% 40% 41%GOVERNMENT/BILATERAL/MULTILATERAL 2% 0% 3%INDIVIDUAL/FAMILY FOUNDATION 11% 12% 16%SECTOR PARTNERS 0% 0% 0%TOTAL 100% 100% 100%STARTING IN 2012, SAFE WATER NETWORK MADE A CONCERTED EFFORT TO SECURE FUNDING FROM DIVERSE PARTIES, AND SINCE THEN HAS SUCCEEDED IN DIVERSIFYING OUR FUNDING BASE. WE HAVE SECURED OVER $12 MILLION IN MULTI-YEAR FUNDING AND COMMITMENTS FROM A RANGE OF ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING NEWMAN'S OWN FOUNDATION, PEPSICO FOUNDATION, KOSMOS ENERGY, THE VOLTA RIVER AUTHORITY IN GHANA, CISCO SYSTEMS, BHEL IN INDIA, USAID, GSMA, HONEYWELL, AND THE CONRAD N. HILTON FOUNDATION. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION HAS MADE A NUMBER OF PROMISING STEPS TO CONTINUE EXPANDING THE DIVERSITY OF THE FUNDING BASE, INCLUDING GROWING THE FUNDRAISING TEAM TO INCLUDE AN INDIVIDUAL GIFTS OFFICER, AND ASSIGNING FUNDRAISING RESPONSIBILITIES TO OUR GHANA AND INDIA OFFICES. WE NOW HAVE A FULL-TIME STAFF MEMBER FOCUSED ON INDIVIDUAL GIVING, INCLUDING MAJOR GIFTS, FAMILY FOUNDATIONS, AND AFFINITY GROUPS. AS A RESULT THESE STEPS, WE ANTICIPATE SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN THE PERCENT OF FUNDING FROM INDIVIDUALS FROM 12% TO APPROXIMATELY 16% IN 2015 AND FROM GOVERNMENT/BILATERAL/MULTILATERAL FROM 0% TO 3%. THIS GREATLY EXPANDS THE DIVERSITY OF SAFE WATER NETWORK FUNDING. OUR OVERALL PIPELINE OF POTENTIAL FUNDERS IS ROBUST AND WE EXPECT IT TO EXPAND FURTHER IN THE COMING YEAR.
