Hatch projects - is a yearlong juried incubator for contemporary chicago artists and curators that strives to support an ecology of curatorial and artistic practice a pioneering initiative of chicago artists coalition. Cac hatch projects fosters shared experimentation exchange and creativity to produce ground-breaking exhibitions and programs. The cac chartwell collectors circle is a dynamic group of emerging and established collectors who share a strong interest in art and supporting chicago9s role as an arts capital. As a special cac membership level, collectors circle offers an exclusive calendar of educational and social offerings throughout the year to broaden members knowledge about contemporary arts and culture. Bolt residency is a highly competitive one year artists studio residency program offering contemporary emerging artists the opportunity to engage the chicago arts community and its public in critical dialogue about contemporary art.

Activity 3

Car - in 2012 cac expanded significantly by acquiring the chicago artists resource website (4car4). As a new programmatic initative. Car is a comprehensive and wll-established online platform that connects, educates and empowers individual practicing artists and the broader arts community. It has more than 20,000 registered account holders and attracts more than one million site visits annually. The acquisition of car fulfills important strategic goals for cac, including expanding into multiple artistic disciplines beyond solely visual arts, increasing priograms and outreach for wider and more diverse populations, and positioning cac for national growth. Cac is also capitalizing on car9s unique capacity to complement the impact of other programs, including the professional development series, residency programs, and other initatives.
