“Empower ministries offers families a bridge from frustration to hope by equipping, strengthening and shepherding children with learning differences.”

“Camp empower is a therapeutic day camp bridging the principles of cognitive developmental therapy with sensory and behavior interventions. During camp the campers will be immersed in an educational, sensory and attachment- rich environment. In all the therapeutic groups, the children will practice the skills needed to see gains in working memory, attention, and critical thinking and will practice emotional and behavioral self-regulation skills. Each camper is buddied up with an older adult or teen that has been trained to work with children with learning differences. The total campers/buddies was 30.”

“Empower ministries offers screening services to families with children who learn differently. The instructor uses a variety of screenings to reveal areas of struggle and weaknesses in the brain that might need to be strengthened. The instructor will then walk the parent through a "bridge plan" to help the parent to obtain a better understanding of how their child learns and provides the parent with the tools needed to help strengthen the child in those areas. Participants in the screening services were 30.”
