FUNDRAISING IN 2017 INVOLVED MEMBERS OF THE NINE UNPAID VOLUTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS UNDER THE COORDINATION OF THE PRESIDENT, DR. RICHARD GOWEN. IN 2017, THE APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR FUNDRAISING EXCEED 2,000. LETTERS REQUESTING FUNDING WERE SENT TO INTERESTED GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY AND ACROSS THE STATE AND UNITED STATES. THE LETTERS WERE FOLLOWED UP WITH DESIGNATIONS FOR PAYMENT IN 2017. IN SPECIFIC CASES, DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS WERE MATCHED BY COMPANIES.
