“As founder of ecp, dr. Richard gowen developed the preparation of an individualized self-paced computer program to teach students who are called dignity scholars to learn how to be excellent computer programmers. The emphasis of ecp is to enable students to have industry positions to build reliable and secure computer programs. Dr. Gowen's in-kind contribution to design and develop this is not recorded in the form 990-ez, but is valued at approximately 90,000.”

“Fundraising in 2018 involved members of the unpaid volunteer board of directors under the coordination of the president, dr. Richard gowen. In 2018, the approximate number of volunteer hours for fundraising exceeded 240. Letters requesting funding were sent to interested groups in the community and across the state and united states.”
