“11 million children under the age of five attend childcare. There are about 1.2 million childcare workers in the u.s. Entrusted with caring, nurturing, and teaching our children - our future. The education and training requirements for childcare workers are minimal, mostly, a high school diploma and short term, on-the-job training. 4kids~support, achieve, thrive provides training, coaching, and mentoring services to increase the knowledge and skills of childcare providers. In 2018, 4kids provided 12 professional development trainings to 54 providers/parents/community members in our local area, positively influencing the outcomes for 250 children in childcare. We will be expanding supports and service for the early childhood community, statewide, in 2019, positively affecting more children.”

THERE ARE ABOUT 1.2 MILLION CHILDCARE WORKERS IN THE U.S. ENTRUSTED WITH CARING, NURTURING, AND TEACHING OUR CHILDREN - OUR FUTURE. THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILDCARE WORKERS ARE MINIMAL, MOSTLY, A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND SHORT TERM, ON-THE-JOB TRAINING. 4KIDS~SUPPORT, ACHIEVE, THRIVE PROVIDES TRAINING, COACHING, AND MENTORING SERVICES TO INCREASE THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF CHILDCARE PROVIDERS. IN 2018, 4KIDS PROVIDED 12 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAININGS TO 54 PROVIDERS/PARENTS/COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN OUR LOCAL AREA, POSITIVELY INFLUENCING THE OUTCOMES FOR 250 CHILDREN IN CHILDCARE. WE WILL BE EXPANDING SUPPORTS AND SERVICE FOR THE EARLY CHILDHOOD COMMUNITY, STATEWIDE, IN 2019, POSITIVELY AFFECTING MORE CHILDREN.
