“Arunodaya (sunrise) for the blind program: this program continued to be our flagship initiative in 2023, focusing on identifying and supporting visually impaired children from remote regions of india. It consumed approximately 70% of our resources. Number of blind children in the program: 187 (156 new enrollments in 2023) number of mentors (daily teachers): 79 number of special educators with expertise to teach blind children: 29 expanded to new regions: added andhra pradesh as our 5th state of operation added three new districts in uttar pradesh: kannauj, farrukhabad, and ghazipur. Inaugurated a resource room cum office in auraiya, uttar pradesh, serving as a library with braille books. Published two books: "arunodaya - dawn of enlightenment and emancipation- and "ananya - curriculum book" organized a conference on "prevention and treatment of visual challenges and educating children and adults with blindness" from 30-31 october 2023 in new delhi with more than 200 participants including experts from india, australia, mauritius, ireland, and the us. Impact: 561 (187 children and their parents); 5 states in india: uttar pradesh, west bengal, chhattisgarh, madhya pradesh, and andhra pradesh”
“High school leadership program: conducted 103+ webinars with 60+ professional mentors served 249 students across 4 partner schools in india and nepal organized the fifth annual entrepreneurship bootcamp in partnership with firstsource solutions limited conducted the third i-search project focused on sustainability & waste management signed mous with two partner schools: lamdon model senior secondary school (leh, ladakh) and n.k.
