Special events: hogwarts running club also held three special events to address three specific tragedies: following the death of alan rickman in january, hrc raised 35,517 for debatemate as seed money for 1st annual alan rickman world debate championships for underprivileged youth around the world. Following the pulse nightclub shooting in orlando, hrc held a special virtual event in honor of the victims that raised 62,525 for the trevor project's suicide crisis hotline for lgtbq youth. In response to the severe floods in louisiana, hrc raised 6,700 to restock the louisiana state animal rescue team's mobile livestock veterinary trailer with life-saving supplies and equipment used up during the crisis.”
