“Program service accomplishments part iii: line 28: let them rock student scholarships:the student scholarship program increases student access to performance based music education and experiences nationally by providing tuition assistance determined by household annual income alignment with state median family index, student essay, and guardian fan letter advocating for increased access to music skills, creativity, confidence, and connections. Scholarship supported programming is instructed at performance-based music education sites throughout the us during out-of-school hours. In fiscal year 2017, over $27k in scholarships were awarded, 3x #of access to scholarships than year prior, with 80% of scholarship applicants from populations traditionally under-resourced/represented due to cultural, ethnic, socio-economic, disabilities, or geographic barriers, ie: gender identity and prior performance-based music experience parity was achieved, #of unduplicated applicants increased 25%, #of locations increased 50%, students received 1,026+ performance hours, and 314+ instruction hours, at 9 locations, in 8 states.”

“Program service accomplishments part iii line 29: let them rock promotions: the promotions program increases student access to audio/video production and recording opportunities, while producing promotional content advocating increased access to music for all. In fiscal year 2017, students participated in the creation of music for all performance promotional photos uploaded to our online gallery, and videos including live performance footage from our annual fundrazor "allegiance to the stage" uploaded to the new let them rock you tube channel, minimalist united we rock video "music first," "all access pass" to tour trailers, and student impact video interviews conducted while touring nationally, capturing skills, assets, and behaviors that performing on stage uniquely cultivates, to promote the benefits of performance-based music education.”

“Program service accomplishments part iii line 30: let them rock fundrazors: the fundrazor program increases student access to culminating performance opportunities at events and venues accessible to the general public. In fiscal year 2017, over a dozen non-solicited third-party fundrazors supporting let them rock were held, tripling access to stage performances in partnership with 20 performance-based music education locations across the u.s., in 12 states, with 20+ collaborating venues, bands and businesses, ie: david uosikkinen's in the pocket, revolution taco, underground arts, and cafe lift during our annual fundrazor "allegiance to the stagex; 500+ students/staff/supporters celebrating let them rock's 2016-2017 successes one night, on 2 stages with 14 live performances by 6 housebands, including let them rock scholarship recipients.”
