IRS990ScheduleA/FactsAndCircumstancesTestTxt0THE WASHINGTON CENTER FOR EQUITABLE GROWTH IS AN ACTIVE CHARITY DEDICATED TO ADVANCING EVIDENCE-BACKED IDEAS AND POLICIES THAT PROMOTE STRONG, STABLE, AND BROAD-BASED ECONOMIC GROWTH. WE DO THIS VIA GRANTMAKING AND RESEARCH, POSTING THIS ANALYSIS TO OUR PUBLIC WEBSITE AND VIA OTHER MEANS. FOR THE 2020 YEAR OUR PUBLIC SUPPORT TEST REACHED 27.42%, WHICH FALLS SHORT OF THE 33 1/3 TEST. EQUITABLE GROWTH RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM A NUMBER OF FOUNDATIONS AND COMPANIES RATHER THAN RECEIVING ALL OR MOST OF ITS SUPPORT FROM A SINGLE FOUNDATION. WHILE WE HAVE NOT YET REACHED THE GOAL OF 33 1/3% OR MORE, WE CONTINUE TO ACTIVELY WORK TO DIVERSIFY OUR REVENUE BASE, SO WE CAN MAKE IMPROVEMENTS IN FUTURE YEARS, ULTIMATELY MEETING THE GOAL.
