“Primary exempt purpose:ariel rivka dance (ard) is an all-female contemporary dance company based in new jersey led by artistic/executive director ariel grossman. Ards mission is to champion female creatives through original choreography, commissioned music, and curated family and educational programming. Through movement, ard creates a community of vulnerability and acceptance, providing opportunities for hope and connection. Line 28:23 performances, two creative residencies, and our first international tour. It is estimated 4,000 audience members were served. The completed programming supports ongoing community engagement, builds social cohesion, and promotes good health and mental well-being. The events aimed to serve the general public and our community. Line 29:led 11 ongoing and one-time educational classes in 2022 and eight free and open-to-the-public workshops. Ard served over 80 students worldwide. Line 30:participated in three tours which took place in detroit, mi, and the detroit dance city festival, durham, nc, at carolina friends school, and istanbul, tr, and istanbul fringe festival and partner universities. During these tours, the company performed and taught workshops to pre-professional and professional dancers, as well as community members with no dance experience.”
